I was trying to remember why I hate AJ Pierzynski so much...

I mean the guys a douche, but I couldn't put a finger on exactly why I hated him so much, and then I remembered this...
"Dropped" 3rd strike 2005 ALCS game 2
I'm not an Angels fan at all, but for some reason this play always irked me, like he was deliberately getting away with tricking the umpire. Just always pissed me off, and now I really don't like him.
But hey, at least we got to see this

He's a douche but that was a smart play.

It's just the fact that he essentially was just running to try and confuse the umpire and get a free base and it worked. I think I was 16 at the time and I was like WTF that's not supposed to work

The hell ever happened to Michael Barrett? The guy was good for like a year.

I just think that play makes the umpire look extremely stupid.

definitely, especially since if you watch the video he did, in fact, call him out originally.

He didn't know if the ball was in the dirt or not, he did what he's supposed to, keep playing til they tell you to stop.

Lives in Alpharetta GA. His dad was my middle school coach and I trained one winter with him and Peter Bergeron. Really great guys.
