I hate Boom’s antics as much as the next guy but gotta side with Boom here.
Why would he bet even money straight up on a Warriors sweep? It’s not a fair bet to him.
You can make a prediction and it doesn’t mean you have to be willing to make a dumb bet on your part to back it up. If you thought a 14 seed would beat a 3 seed in the NCAAT, would you bet on the 14 with even odds or wouldn’t you, reasonably, want the moneyline odds?
Why would he bet even money straight up on a Warriors sweep? It’s not a fair bet to him.

They were the worse. They had the worse net rating outta all of Those teams. And beating the worse 3 seed I can remember is nothing worth tooting your horn over. You will get a dose of reality. Quick.

If he said he would bet money on it and now he wants to change the bet parameters to reflect odds, then I retract my statement and will laugh at Boom.
If he said he thought pels would be swept, and others are calling him out for simply not willing to bet even money on an out on a limb prediction- then I don’t see any reason to call him out.

I would typically agree but Boom has been pretty constant with saying that people need to put their money where their mouth is
And when you bet other people you bet at evens, and if he’s not willing to then he’s just admitting he is wrong more than right and just runs his mouth about betting cash to try and bluff people.

Because he didnt say "Dude, the pels wouldnt even win a single game (or maybe 2 games, really getting swept is the same as winning 1) 10% of the time."
He said "The pels wont win a game".
So why would you allow that to be the statement but bet it as if they bet was based on him believing that 9/10 times they would do the thing hes claiming they wont do?

there are 8 possible outcomes bro. 4 for each team. Just because one scenario is the most likely don’t call for a even money bet. This is simple. Or I thought It would be.
