I used to think NBA games were fixed. I was wrong.

Because if the NBA was ever going to fix a game, it would be fixing both division championship games. They, the NBA, had a chance to have a Celtics-Lakers final, but instead it looks like Miami-Denver. Of course those two series are not yet over, but it would take some divine intervention for Boston or LA to come back.

The ratings for a Miami-Denver series will probably be just slightly better than the ratings for Oklahoma vs Florida softball game.

The entire fixing games argument is so black and white on here. Neither side has a leg to stand on.

Games can be influenced to favor certain outcomes, which has been done

True about the ratings , but I’ll watch because the two most worthy teams will be in it.

Yeah, I don’t give a shite about the ratings. Miami-Denver are the two best teams and I’d love to see them face off.

Probably, but I'll watch Heat-Nuggets and couldn't have cared less about the other two.

You know all the white people will be watching the finals when they best player in the NBA, who happens to be white, will be playing for Denver's first NBA championship.

Games have to be somewhat close to fix them. Hard to fix blowouts, too obvious

Take a look at the Free Throw disparity. The Lakers shot more free throws in the 4th Q than the Celtics shot all game...and the Celtics were up most of the game so it wasn't like they were fouling to stop the clock.

Also...

LeBron's team is the only one to comeback 3-1 in The Finals...what would it say for his legacy if his team became the 1st to win down 3-0...let alone comeback from 3-0.

I'll be watching.

PS- If the Celtics lose he is going against him former team...if the Lakers can pull it off.

I disagree. People like me will watch.

For Jokic.
