We kicked earlier than everywhere else in the state at 7pm. Walked off before 9pm.
The on field officials knew on Tuesday that the game was at 7 and not 730 and didn't bother to inform the association or the chain/clock crew. I show up early (like I usually do) and find out the PCO wasn't coming, co I moved to that position. The assignor was shocked to find out about the earlier kickoff.

Come playoff time, the association assigned to referee the game provides the on field crew, the clock operators (game and play), and the chain crew.

My game today was much more competitive.
Heard County beat Union County 31-28. Union County got on the bus at 6 this morning to drive 3.5 hours down to Franklin to play at 1 pm. It showed too; they sleptwalked through the first 1.5 quarters and were down 28-7. Came back and almost won it.
Found out we were assigned the forfeited Banks County-Callaway game too. There was a third forfeit also- Arabia Mountain at Cedartown.
