Terrible trade for the Magic, but probably their best option

I hate to say it, but you've got to pull the trigger on this if you're the Knicks.

Why would you hate to say that? You do that in a second if you're the Knicks.

Because the Knicks gave up their entire roster for Melo, it leaves Howard and Melo and NOBODY...Still have to do it though.

D'Antoni probably won't be coaching the Knicks much longer.

If the Magic actually came to the Knicks with that inquiry, how in the holy hell has that deal not happened yet cause New York should have said yes the second the deal was out there.

This is exactly why I doubt this report. Even Otis Smith isn't that terrible at his job.

The Knicks can't trade Chandler until March.

I would hate to see someone who is so skilled at defense be coached by Mike D'Antoni....

NYK really had little choice. They dismantled their roster in anticipation to sign a max deal last offseason. They missed out on LeBron, and they had to give the money to someone so their fans didn't revolt.

Hell they would have signed Joe Johnson to the max deal a few years ago if ATL hadn't kept him. They were just desperate to make themselves somewhat relevant again.

so they pair amare and melo together who are both allergic to defense?
