Not what he said in his autobiography.

I don't think you know what that word means. Do you mean ambidextrous?

I never realized before what a good ball handler Barkley was. He seemed to be ambidextrous.

I know he claimed he was 6'4.75. Maybe this pic is a weird angle, but he looks slightly taller than Jordan?

What's his wingspan? That gives a better gauge of practical height in basketball than the measurement to the top of one's head.

you name another guy that got hurt at 38 or whatever it was and busted his arse in rehab to come back for one meaningless last game

that was just a snapshot of the pride Chuck played with

Barkley was taller than 6'4". At least 6'5" or even 6'6".

Jordan was always listed as being 6'6"... and here is a picture of them together:

I saw him standing next to Jordan and honestly he actually looked about an inch or so taller. It surprised me.

Barkley just wanted it worse than everyone else. My favorite saying of his is very very few people really want to be great. Practically no one alive really wants to be great, only a few.

Barkley played angry. He had a massive chip on his shoulder. He was intimidating because he was always pissed off and didn't give a shite whether anyone liked it or not. Hell, he swung at shaq once when Shaq was in his prime. He squared up on Mahorn when he was the baddest man in the NBA. Charles Oakley too.

He outworked, outhustled, and intimidated people. he never backed down. Physically, he was deceivingly quick with good hops. But mentally, he simply played harder and wanted it more.

And he is 6'5. I met him several times right after his playing days in Atl. 6'5, possibly a smidge over.

I met him in HS at a gas station,I am barely 6"5, and I was taller than him. This was when he was on the Suns and I can assure you is a legit 6"4.

Yea I think he took Shaq to the ground, actually. And as I recall, he was the best player consistently in Dream Team practices. He was absolutely tenacious and such an incredible hard worker.

That, and he was amphibious.

He got cut by Bobby Knight for the 84 Olympics because the two constantly butt heads with each other despite him being the best player in camp. He really hated his coach at Auburn too. He almost transferred to Bama to spite him.

He took Shaq down MMA style. I heard Jordan dominated the Dream Team practices, it was where he really knew he could be the GOAT, but Barkley was the best player in the games for the Dream Team.
