Astros have all the signs etc, but the scuttlebutt is that they won't enforce anything.

Haven't been to any games in Chicago this year, but was at Target Field last Thursday and it was pretty lenient. Aside from getting into the game, no one checked our tickets. Most Twins game I go to, I never make it to my seat and just chill at standing room in LF. Did the same last week, albeit the ushers were a bit strict about masks being on if you, quite literally, weren't drinking or eating.

Heading to CHI at the end of May to catch a Sox game and also a Cubs game...

Any info shared would be appreciated... quick 2 day trip to catch a ball game each day and flight schedule gives plenty of time for site seeing...

Bringing my 13 year old son as an end of the school year gift...

Any recs appreciated on things to do at either ball park.

(Looked into catching a Brewers game then taking the train down to CHI, but wife said we didn't need to add that to the trip and the 2 we were catching was enough.. )

They don't care at all about masks in Minute Maid Park. There are no mask Naziz. People only wear masks while walking in and heading to their seats. In their seats, pretty much nobody had on masks. Even walking around the concourse, hardly any masks.

At the lower level, one usher asked about tickets. They really didn't look at it, just asked where were our seats. Never asked again.

Going to be totally honest... All I've done since Chicago reopened is go to bars and restaurants. Those are about as open as you can ask - bar close is 1:00am and indoor is up to 50% capacity, though some places do stretch this number.

I have no idea what tourist attractions are able to be visited, but I'm guessing most are good. Quick Google search shows museums, zoo and architecture tours all open.

Take your son to Phil's Pizza before a Sox game. Plenty of bars along Clark when you go to Wrigley for Cubs, but Southport Corridor is a bit more family-friendly to walk.

The Cubs World Series trophy is on display in a room outside Wrigley. Pop in an take a free pic with it. LINK

Plenty of bars in the area, but not sure on getting a kid in one.

There is Big Star Wrigleyville across the street. Big 2-story place that serves good tacos and has an impressive bourbon selection plus both cheap and craft beer. Very popular.

Thanks.

Yeah it's going to be such a quick trip.. but looking to do as much as we can.

Was hoping to tour Wrigley, but looks like that won't happen before end of May.
