There is no age limit. If you graduate high school at 10, youre eligible for the draft at 13.

Fournette could have played in the NFL right out of HS, and he plays a position that takes the most hits. So I don't think there should be any age limit. Really depends on each individual athlete. Skill guys like RBs, WRs, Kickers, Punters could play right out of HS. They likely aren't developing much anyway in college either physically or mentally.

All the other positions take lot of development time so doubtful they could make that jump or NFL teams would want to waste those picks knowing they wouldn't be ready for 2-3 years.

Let em do like MLB and draft straight out of high school. As soon as cam Jordan, Mack, any boss, watt, etc..... puts the hurt on them and their out of the league in 2-3 years (got play 5 for nfl retirement pension) they’ll wish they had went to college.

Look at clarett and Williams (usc) how’d their careers end up after suing and being allowed to enter draft after 2 years of actual college ball

That ruling was overturned before the draft and both sat out of football for a year.

So let me hear the NFL's position fellow?
the nfl is getting free player development, while the ncaa is making money off the players. Why do you think either party would want to change that?

All I know is some school on Saturday had a 28 year old freshman kicker.

How old can an athlete be before he's considered an unfair advantage in College?

Looking at you BYU and your roster full of 24 year olds.

Can it be a farce if it doesn’t exist?

Being 24 doesn't make them better players or more talented plus those kids take 2 years away from football meaning no development in that period. A 275 pound OL with basic hs coaching is at a considerable disadvantage going against 30 year olds with over a decade of top notch coaching and development. It's an apples to oranges comparison.
Better comparison using your argument are the hs kids "held back" for athletic purposes.
