Nobody has an effort with this elephantine behemoth wanting to lose weight. Good on her.

The problem is a company attempting to tell us that this morbidly obese fatbody is a picture of health. That wideload is going to die by 50 no matter how much fancy stretching she does.

Imagine being Sydney Mclaughlin, who trained her entire life and had to eviscerate Olympic and world records to star in Gatorade commercial and then she has to share it with a 400lb obese, bastion of unhealthiness because she can stand on one leg from 20 seconds and do a yoga pose...

If that isn't one of the most shameful moves in the history American commercial advertising and health awareness, then I don't know what is...

Yoga will not help that cow lose ANY weight. She needs to get on that peloton or go for that jog with the actual fit woman in that commercial

Gatorade was too tone-deaf to realize their Ad was advertising what their product actually does.

I disagree. I think it's you who are tone deaf.

Gatorade is not making a statement regarding health. They're just trying to sell their sugar water. It just so happens approximately 70% of their market is overweight or obese, many of whom affiliate Gatorade with exercise and physical activity, despite the fact the overwhelming majority of them don't use it for that. Gatorade knows exactly what they are doing.

It's the same thing with Victoria's Secret using fat chicks as their models. Guess what? Most American women are fat, and it pays if Victoria's Secret can convince fat women to feel "sexy" and buy their lingerie.

The cover says "this is healthy," but do you know what Cosmo's real intentions are? To sell their shitty magazine. It just turns out they have to convince their readers, more than 2/3rds of whom are overweight or obese, that it's okay to be fat.

Now, just for the record, I completely disagree being a landwhale is healthy. But Gatorade, Victoria's Secret, and Cosmo aren't in the business of defining health. They're in the business of selling products.
