They keep anywhere between 15-20 balls in the bag.
No one keeps more than a dozen in the bag, and even that is rare. If they have 15-20 in the bag, the caddy is taking out a bunch

They all carry at least 15. They hit a lot of wedges per round and each time they hit a wedge they switch balls on the next hole. They never go more than 3 holes without switching. Most of the big hitter switch after 2 holes. I know some guys who carry 2 dozen.
Carrying in the bag includes what the caddie is carrying.
After re-re-re-reading your post, I am still not understanding it.

Nah really only 2 or 3
I believe Kige. judging by his golf instructional video he swings about 4 feet over the ball. Its easy to keep it in play if you swing 4 feet over teh ball. you just look down and it still stitting right there in front of you.

I spend more money on balls than green fees.

I lose about 3 or 4 on average. I have bad days where I lose like 6 or so, but then every now and then I'll play a round where I don't lose one, or only one.

3 on avg. but I lost 7 or 8 at tour 18 2 weeks ago. The course is a replica of the 18 greatest holes on the tour, and its damn hard.

I had a friend who played on some mini tours. The pros switch every time ball gets scuffed. They can tear up a ball with a wedge.

Last 2 rounds I played I only lost 1 total. Usually a couple though, mostly from mis judging distances to water or the woods.

Played Losy Key a while back - must have went through a case of balls.

I played City Park in New Orleans last Sunday and didn't lose one ball. That might be the first time I've ever done that.
I usually lose 2-3 each round. I get free golf balls thru work though, so if I hit one OB into the woods, I don't spend a lot of time looking for it.

how is that course? I went on the website and there are no pictures. It's a cool concept though

It's cool to play, but they don't keep it up as well as they should.
