I'm going to play in LA for a few extra million dollars than shitty Milwaukee, get paid less and have no shot of the NBA playoffs. Agents want to get their players the most money it's that simple.
Players don't give a shite when they step on the court. Maybe off the court, but that's the last thing on their mind during games.

Doubtful. He can't even pay much more than the other teams with the way the league is set up.

Again, none of which absolves DS or means he shouldn't be taken to task for his words.
No player or coach is going to self-destruct their own career they've worked so hard to earn because their owner is a jackass. Neither is a fan that grew up cheering for their hometown team going to desert the franchise. But that doesn't pardon the owner in the slightest or give him authority to come out and say things along the line of what Sterling has.

Money equal, black players will still go to LA over Milwaukee even with a racist owner.

Not true at all.

The Clippers' most recent playoff game is a strong example to the contrary.

Getting paid IS tolerating his views. Don't you get it? They can have there little protest and all but until one refuses to play for him they are tolerating his views.

We'll see. This is still the LA Clippers afterall.

What punishment would you like to see the league impose on him? What would satisfy you?

Doesn't mean the league should continue to enable a demonstrated racist.
This isn't really about the players. Their most important goal is to stay healthy and try to win a title. Given those two goals of paramount importance for any player, they have precious little they can realistically do, even if their owner is a bigot. The responsibility for action and for holding the owner accountable does not rest with them.

There's no reason to believe this. You're just coming to conclusions based off bad reasoning.

See my previous post. The players and coaches have extremely limited options when it comes to matters of this nature.

Is there any chance the team hasn't gang banged her?

I believe his position as sole owner of the Clippers should be significantly marginalized, in addition to whatever financial penalty the league chooses to levy.

Come on don't hold back. You want him to no longer be an owner...just be honest.
What should be done with the money collected from the fine?

Please don't put words in my mouth. You asked what would "satisfy" me, and I responded truthfully, per par.

I don't care.

So what happens to a player who's life long dream is to play in the NBA is drafted by the Clippers but doesn't want to play for the owner.
Does he not sign a contract with them? Sits out the entire season? Or ends up playing? And what if they refuse to trade him once he signs.

He will play for the Clippers.
Like I previously stated, there are more pertinent matters that influence where a player will play than who the owner is. The player has his own career to consider and his own aspirations to achieve. If his only choices to reach his goals are between a shitty owner and being out of the league, of course he will choose the shitty owner.
That doesn't mean that his playing for the Clippers in any way excuses or condones such words from the owner.

How does the league do what you suggested to an owner?

I suppose we'll find out with the rest of the sporting world at 1400 EST today, won't we?

Nope it just means he is tolerating what the owner said
