Kinda like baseball with the 20-25 million deals for 30+ year olds

I feel like every time a QB signs one of these monster long term deals, they have to restructure after a couple years. Is it because of the salary cap?

Admittedly, I do not know a whole lot about how NFL contracts work

They already pretty much do. Stafford has 92 mill guaranteed over 5 years and that's the most ever. Yu darvish probably has 3 offers worth more right now

Aren’t they all proportionate to what the tv contracts are? Tv contracts go down, salaries go down? They go up, contracts go up (as long as the cap goes up too)

You really think San Fran wins A SB in the next three years????

And is Jimmy G worth more than Brady, Brees or Rogers?????

He set the market and rest assured those legends will bargain hard for their piece of the pie come contract time unless they want to go the LeGOAT route and take pay cuts to create a super team, I think TB12's already done that with his NE contracts

When it ceases becoming profitable.

As far as "saying enough is enough", players are worth what the market will pay them. I don't blame the players for taking the money and I'm not going to judge millionaire/billionaire business owners for doing what they want with their money.

I'd say when they do say enough is enough, the NFL will cease to exist. Players are already quitting early due to injury risk and so forth. You stop increasing their pay and the reward will not be worth the risk and people will stop playing.
