2018 Sugar Bowl for me. Pretty much polar opposite of LSU fans. The only people having less fun in NOLA were those getting robbed

Think A&M in orange.

Was coming to say this to an extent - TAMu fans are outgoing and friendly though, and Clemson is sort of reserved.

I've been to every UNC v Clemson game in Clemson since the 1980s. Extremely welcoming and friendly fan base. Of course, our fans are pretty tame compared to LSU so I don't know how'll they'll react to you guys.

Entitled scumbags in 2007, can only imagine how they are now.

Locals hostile or welcoming? Thanks in advance.

If you have any questions about where to stay, hang out, park on gameday let me know.

We're planning to go to a South Carolina game this fall and I've heard it's the exact opposite.

SC games are a massive party. Much more to do in Columbia, with a significantly larger bar and restaurant scene - as you'd expect.

Back to the topic at hand, Clemson fans are a nice enough bunch. They're a little odd ans secluded, but look at their overall position in the state as a whole. They're literally tucked away in a corner. It's a nice corner, but it's secluded nonetheless.

I mean, we hate them and they hate us, but I've always heard that they're genuinely decent to other fanbases.

from my experience with them at the NC game, they are a very strange bunch of people, and we were in Nola for several days around them, not hostile, quiet, aloof, no sense of humor, and cliquish/cultish

This was my experience with them for the NCG as well. They were very nice but also it was weird being around a bunch of southerners whose demeanor was nothing like an SEC fanbase. Not even a bit of lighthearted shite talk.

I’ll take quiet and conservative Clemson over Morgantown during the Rich Rod era lol.

So, as much entitled scumbags as Bama, or worse?

I went to basic training roughly 10 years ago with a die hard Clemson guy.

Super nice fellow, super baptist and preachy. Lot of other soldiers didn’t care for him cause he was a brown noser.

reminded me of a young Lindsey Graham without the sass
