For the last couple of years it seems like the Texans are just one player away. They definetly have the talent especially on offense, I hope they can turn things around.

I am not bashing the Saints. Just because you bash the Texans does not mean everyone else bashing other teams. I was stating a fact that in 2007-2008 the Sucky Texans actually had a better record than the Saints.

As much as it pains you I am stating a fact too. The Texans suck this year, I really thought they wouldn't. I predicted a 10-6 season, but looking at the rest of their schedule I think it's another 8-8 season if they are lucky.

You're right I meant 07-08.

Correct, I put the wrong years.

07-08 the Texans were 16-16. The Saints 15-17.

No, 8-8 doesn't suck, its mediocre. 2-14, 4-12 sucks.

Whats funny is I thought they'd be 9-7, 10-6 was a stretch.

There are some harder than we thought games like Cinny and SF coming up. Its possible they could blow up, I'm think more like 7-9 now, that might get Kubiak fired.

secondary is pitiful. Not happy with defensive coaching staff. I'm not sure Kubiak is the guy.

Not addressed to me, but shite - a DT, a better DE opposite of Mario, at least one good safety, and another corner.

Amobi did look good today, which is good.

But is getting him fired really gonna help. Is it the Defensive coordinator? I really thought the D was gonna be better but the only game they showed up at was Oakland. They definetly need to look at the QB position. It's the recivers that are making Schaub look good.

Which is crazy with all of the talent they have. Don't they have 3 first rounders in the secondary?

Is the general consensus in Houston that they have all the pieces on offensive, because they are exciting to watch, or is Schaub possibly not the guy? Also, do you think they can address their defensive in the draft. The reason I'm asking is because I've always been a Texans fan since they came in the league, and don't get much info where I'm at because I'm in Saints country

So would Eric Berry in the first and Chuck the Truck in the 3rd be enough for them to turn the corner iyo?

The offense has been their strong suit and Schaub has been satisfactory. People were pissed at him after this game but for the most part he has been good. He has only had one bad game out of five (against the Jets).

They were supposed to build the team around a strong defense with Dom Capers, and it was their strong point at the beginning. But since Kubiak has been here it has sucked pretty bad. They always talk about building through the draft - and they have made some decent picks - but what's most frustrating to me is they won't bring in a big free agent (Robaire Smith and Antonio Smith don't count). It'll take more than just drafting, which is hit or miss obviously.

that would depend on who they hire. He has most of the personnel responsibility. The 2006 draft was money. 07 and 08 meh.

partly, but the Secondary blows. They have never really addressed Safety.

It would not be a bad idea to draft someone, but they have other needs to draft a QB to early. I don't agree its the WR. Schaub is OK, he's certainly not great, but AJ's #'s are much better with Schaub than with Carr. Offense is not the problem.

No, that's the DL. The secondary they have not addressed.

I haven't kept up with them, but didn't they have Buchanon, Dunte, and someeone else?

Just looked it up, damn their secondary is abysmal.

I definetly hope they can make some moves in the offseason. I think they have the potential to be a force to be reckoned with, especially being a young team. There's no doubt the talent is there, even on defense, maybe a coaching change is in order. Thanks for the response
