quote:There was a Chicago team in that World Series, but not the White Sox.
According to this clown, the White Sox is the worst baseball club in the history of the game because they cheated the World Series in 1918.
That ordeal is still relevant today

Do the Yankees have a stain over those championships in the last 90s/early 00s where their entire roster was juicing?
All Yankees all the time. Why can't you clowns just accept the proven facts in the current case? And in the steroid scandal it was proven that it was running rampant throughout baseball.

its hilarious. Yankees got outed as cheating from 2015-2017 as well. but i guess since their cheating didn't result in winning they shouldnt have to forfeit any wins.
Wrong. Didn't happen.

But they did sign one of these said “cheaters” to a record contract in the off season. So I guess you can only be appalled so much.
Guaranteed if the Yankees or Red Sox or the Cubs or the Dodgers were in talks with the Astros to land Correa, Altuve, Springer, Bregman....their fans would be rejoicing and clamoring to have them on their teams....
I’m sure when Correa and Springer hit free agency in a couple years, This will all be forgotten and will fall by the wayside and everyone here throwing rocks will be praying for them to sign to whomever they pull for...

MLB has never taken a trophy away from a team as far as I know, why would they with the Astros?
When college teams get caught cheating their titles and wins get vacated. The same should happen to the Astros.

So pitchers were receiving stolen signs too? Also, Cole wasn't there in 17, so are you admitting the cheating continued the last 2 years?
frick off with that dumb shite.

So now we’ve gone from Altuve wearing a buzzer and that was proven by him not wanting to get his shirt torn off after blasting Chapman just a few months ago...and now, there was no way they were doing anything shady for the last couple years?
Oh, and Verlander apologized yesterday as well. So if he’s a pitcher, why did he have to apologize? “It was proven” he knew what was going on considering said apology.
Something doesn’t fit with your narrative here.
Are they going to be “cheaters” when they’re in the playoffs again this fall?
So if the Yankees were in the running for any of those guys in free agency or trade, you’d want them to have nothing to do with them, huh?

Huh? When did I say it was proven Altuve wore a buzzer? Also please point to where I said they didn't do anything the last 2 years. I simply asked if you're confirming you think they were since you've involved Cole.
And I've been on record saying I wouldn't want Altuve over DJ or Correa over Torres and that Bregs over Urshela was close. Bregs is better on the field but not enough to make me forget about his douchebaggery and his desire to talk politics. My point is, none of those guys fit a Yankees need so I'd rather not go after em.

Yeah, the pitchers were involved too
That’s why Yanks only scored 3 runs in 4 games
I saw Verlander use a stolen sign right before he made Frazier swing at his off speed with the knob of the bat in his navel
Do yourself a favor, and at least save your responses for some of those we recognize as baseball guys around here
I responded to this knee jerker previously and he’s proven he’s not worth it

You don't have to recognize me as anything boy. I promise you there's nothing knee jerk about me and everything I'm saying is simple logic. I've also been around more baseball and for much longer than 95% of posters here. Y'all just don't like hearing facts from us that aren't Astros fanboys.

Astros are simply better, scandal or not, and they can't stand it.
2019 proved this, and Houston will do it again.

Your 2019 ace is wearing pinstripes now. Even if Verlander carries you to the postseason, everybody knows he won't win a playoff game

Crazy that the most dominant franchise in sports history would have fans outside their own state, right?

If what they were doing was beneficial to them, it would have continued.
They wouldn’t have allowed themselves to lose 4 home games in this past WS
Their numbers absolutely prove it hindered them. That’s a tough pill to swallow when you’re the losers.
All the critical ABs that occurred in the post season, Hell, even regular season, and the only video/audio evidence is a guy who strikes out vs a last place team?

The guy who embarrassed y'all in '17 is back. So are Greinke and Urquidy, who pitched as well as or better than Cole against Washington. And of course, Strom. Already won a ring without Gerritt, but it was fun while we had him and then making NY take the bigger risk.

You just proved how little you know. They were under the microscope in this past world series. Even if they cheated in 19, there was no way to do it in the WS. The league and clubs knew what was happening well before we did.
