Do you ever wonder how a 1 loss SEC team keeps getting selected for the BCSNG over 1 loss teams from other conferences? It's because the SEC has proven in BCS bowls that the best from te SEC truly deserve to be in those games.

Because it feels like we haven't lost a BCSNCG in about 10 years. I'm not worried about the championship game. The best team from the conference will most likely always be the best team in the country. It's not because win our bowl games, it's because we have the most talent. I hope Notre Dame beats Bama 41-0.

you're right the "top" of the SEC deserves that, not the bottom feeders. What's silly is for example an Ole Miss or Arky fan telling others "we" have 6 straight national titles. It's pathetic.

Or yankee fans celebrating a Red Sox championship because they are in the AL East. Same could be said for saints fans rooting for the falcons. You will NEVER see that...so why does it make it cool to root for Rival SEC teams?

agreed. it's one of the most ridiculous things in all of sports. Bama is on the verge of winning their 3rd title in the past 4 years I don't get why that makes everyone else happy.

I'm a dodgers fan maybe I should start claiming the Giants 2 titles in the past 3 years. It beats saying we haven't won anything since 88

I really thought UCLA was good. I picked them, so I hope they pull it out, but they look awful.

The only positive that comes from SEC teams winning bowl games is the revenue share. Besides that...NOTHING good comes from Bama winning a 3rd title

it is strange times we are living in I tell ya. I'm not even all that old but I never heard that shite when I was growing up. Both schools wanted the other one to lose EVERY time. Now its some bullshite state pride thing going on.
its not everywhere you look though but you see it a lot more than you would at anytime in the 90's.....
