Well neither of those numbers are right for either player but ok.

And also, by that logic Eli Manning should get in over both of them because QB is more important than both positions.

Zero time all pro

But you are right in your thinking as manning actually has a chance at the HOF never being All pro. An offensive lineman would never make the ballot

Elway never made 1st team all pro. 2nd team only 3 times and he was a first ballot guy

Aikman ZERO all pros total. 1st ballot guy . Also why only a few kickers ever are in

Make sense? Didn’t think it would be argued position importance matters for the HOF

Elway and Aikman have something in common with Evans that Anderson doesnt share too.

Kuechly - 5x 1st team All Pro, 2x time 2nd team All Pro

Gore was consistently decent for a long time but elite only once

Kuechly was the gold standard for ILB play for his whole career

There are roughly 2x more tackles than guards in the NFL HOF. It just isn’t viewed as important meaning it tougher to get in. You usually will need far better accolades than a Tackle to make it over them

I don’t see 5 all pros compared to 4 weighing heavily enough there.

I mean Brees did choose to go back to San Diego in retirement. He should go into the hall as a Charger

I dont necessarily disagree with that. But i think Jahri has a much better perception (pro bowl voting does at least show this) among fans, and the league (more all pros) and a super bowl ring. And the fact that WA played in literally one playoff game in his career before his final season with Baltimore (also played on one team with a winning record prior to that year). It was just a much more irrelevant and unheralded (objectively) career.

Definitely wouldn't have made it first ballot, but damn he has to wait 5 years again?!

Genius move IMO. In 5 years, the voters will be like "Damn, Rivers isn't in yet? Hasn't he waited long enough? Okay, let's vote him in." And then Rivers will technically be a first ballot HOF.

Enough of this slander.

Gore is 3rd all time rushing....look who's he ahead of.

All-Pro teams made isn't the defining factor for making the HoF. His durability and consistency alone should be enough to get him in as we are unlikely to see many like him moving forward.

Gore is a hall of famer.

No but it is a huge part of it. And 7 All Pros is a lot

How is this slander? I didn’t say he sucked or doesn’t belong in the HOF. But he isn’t more deserving compared to a guy that was the best or 2nd best ILB in the league almost his whole career.

I say Gore is more accomplished at RB than Kuechly is at LB.

Derek Henry is considered to be on the HoF track and he still has alot of work to do to catch Gore.
