As soon as the Ohio River thaws, that fricking cumbucket is taking a swim with two cinder blocks attached to each leg.

I think Diogu is shut down for the season. Hilton never got playing time anyway.

I thought Diogu had knee surgery and was out for the year?

ETA: Yup

Hopefully if they make another deal, it will be with DWest (and hopefully MoPete) and will bring back some better payroll flexibility.

West will not be moved. If they can trade MoPete, it will because they can convince someone to take a future 1st rounder to take him. Not only would the Hornets be well under this year's and next year's tax (and get their bonus payments) but they would be able to be buyers in this year's trade deadline dumps. The Hornets have 7 million in trade exceptions that they will be willing to use as long as they can stay under the tax.
I guarantee you that if someone will take MoPete with a 1st, he will be moved. The hitch in the plan is that most of the teams with large enough trade exceptions to take on MoPete are trying to get under the tax themselves and the first round pick isn't worth the price they will pay.

Who in their right mind would want Mo Pete for a 1st??

ETA: Me and Shank on the same page

MoPete and a 1st for nothing. It would be giving them a 1st to take MoPete.

Pretty sure Ike is done for they year. Armstrong was expendable because he wasn't being used. They've just gone with a short rotation of Okafor, West and Songaila. Hopefully Marks will comeback soon to give a little more depth.
