Why are they slapping the back board opposite the ball? I have never seen that before
I'm not sure why the last one did it, I think he mistimed getting a rebound if the ball missed and he was there too early and just slapped the glass.

this year they continued online testing but at LHSAA monitored sites so a lot of guys mysteriously dropped in rating. I think it is great

We have had 5 guys that I can think of quit this year because they weren't getting assignments. The reason they weren't getting assignments is because they suck and had no hope to get better.

Seeing the same thing in the Baton Rouge Association.

Lots of the younger guys who are busting their arse and trying to get better are getting more chances.

Well, I think some of the guys know the technical rules very well, but occasionally that doesn't translate to on court performance. The game just moves to fast for some guys, or they just have poor judgment.

I sincerely hope that you're not telling your daughter something along the lines of, "honey, the ref's black, so you're screwed."

Have not said any of this to her or anyone else. But then again, she's not stupid.

I am glad to hear about the requirements to be a ref are getting tightened. That's all I was wanting. Plus may e alittle more monitoring.

yes they are when I played FB at West Jeff we lost to Hahnville, Jesuit (twice), Rummel, and a few other Catholic league schools probably by less than 4 points each game.

As a 1988 HHS grad, let me be the first to say, "I'm glad you lost."
