I was at the toula game tonight. Hammond lost to loranger, and we left the toula game at the start of the second quarter. They were beating Springfield 41-0.

JJ27...I know you were at the WM/Neville game. What do you have on it? BTW, I will be in town this week and will be seeing my 1st WM game since the 2004 state title game vs. Evangel.

Neville came out and marched down the field. Very impressive drive and really concerned me. Bolden started at QB, but WM went 3 and out. They ran at Lawrence all 3 plays. Not sure why exactly. He slid over to WR and TB the rest of the game. Belton comes in 2nd series and hits Norris on a long TD pass. Absolutely a story book moment 1st pass back after 2 ACL injuries...TD. Foust came in the 2nd half and lead 3 scoring drives. Looked REALLY GOOD running the option. Pump fake and pass to Norris was beautiful. Neville was fighting on the field between the safety and CB DURING THE PLAY. Norris was uncovered. Fantastic play. Then Shelbon with a long TD run on FB give on the option. It was a very impressive effort tonight by all of the boys

I didn't see the game, my daughter goes to Zachary andsee told .Also one of my brothers is a Coach at West Fel. And I'll talk with him today.

WM handled Neville pretty easily. I thought the game was going to be a close game.
Other than the first drive by Neville, it was all West Monroe. Neville's receivers dropped a few passes, they look to be down from last years team.
Its just the start of the season but Neville will have a good team this year. I don't know if they can win it all again this year.
I am hearing that Franklinton is going to be stout this year. West Monroe will play them later on this season, should be a good game.
West Monroe looked like West Monroe of years past. They are going to be strong this year. Defense looked nasty strong, the offense looks like they are going to be able to put up a lot of points this year.
West Monroe plays Wossman next week, we will get to see how good Cameron Lewis stacks up.

Franklinton should be in the mix as usual for state in 4A. Tied John Curtis in the jamboree last night 14 to 14. Franklinton scored to go ip 14 to 8 with 1:40 left in the game and somehow didnt finish. Still curtis is a national name so playing them like that should be a good indicator.

WM looked good no doubt. Gullat was all over the place making plays. Neville has to stop with the QB experiment with #14 if they want to do anything this year.

Neville could not catch, punt, or contain the qb on option. Do agree they need to pick a qb and go with it. Young team and it showed. They will get better every week

Neville should have stayed with the run. It was working. They'll be fine.
