Whichever team is ranked higher or has the better record gets to play the game in their home stadium.

I want to bash you but this idea is so bad I am pretty sure you have zero idea how all of that works.

Explain to me why it is sooooo bad

You are LSU right? You would not have wanted to see last night's game in Tiger Stadium?

If the game was in Tiger Stadium, it would have been a Sell Out.

I have watched more fricking bowl game in the past several years where there are more empty seats in the stadium then people.

These Bowl games fricking suck. Zero atmosphere.. the stadium in 60% empty in most of them. They are fricking horrible and you want to bash me for coming up with this amazing idea?

The first thing is that there isn't a bowl attendance "issue." it's all about TV money. So why fix an non issue?

why not make money for both??? TV and Attendance. My idea is so great that it would vastly improve the College Football Bowl Season

Who gives a frick about the Rose Bowl? They are the main reason the biggest games of the season are on fricking NEW YEAR'S EVE.

Going to be the worst ratings in the history of College Football.

By the way, keep the playoff games at the big neutral sites... Make the shitty bowls Home of team's best record/highest ranking

Let teams who never have the opportunity to play each other experience what it's like playing in different stadiums

It's a BRILLIANT idea

How about, you must be at least .500 in your conference to be eligible for bowls...eliminate all teams 7-5 and worse who are getting the majority of their wins versus the worst teams in the country. If LSU was 5-7, I wouldn't want to watch them on TV, much less dish out a $1,000 to buy tickets, travel, stay and eat.

How about the Iownashittycompanybytcanpayforadvertisingwiththisshitbowl.com Bowl in Movile Alabama?

Stop letting shitty teams like GT play in them. That would fix a lot.

What the hell are you talking about? I said that's the price tag if you go to a bowl game. At that price, if the game isn't a big one, its not worth the price. Home site bowl games are dumb as hell. Now, for the playoff, I don't mind this idea until the championship.

But yet, more people show up at the Spring Scrimmage than they do a shitty Bowl game. Makes sense.

I am talking about increasing attendance and environment at BOWL Games. I have NEVER been to a Bowl game that cost $1,00 to attend. Ever. WTF are YOU talking about?

I went to the Orange Bowl when Tech played and payed $45 for bad arse seats. We won and it was the most boring game in history and we actually beat an almighty SEC team

Some of the shittier bowls must have like 10k attendance. Unless it's an SEC team or another big time national program nobody is showing up. NCSU and Louisville both had maybe 25k in decent bowls less than three hours from their campus. I think Mississippi State had more fans in Charlotte than NC State. That's terrible. We're playing Kansas State 5.5 hours from campus and we'll basically be playing a home game.

So many things wrong with this.

Boston College would host a bowl game in 0 degree temps and you think it'd sell out?
Who would pay teams to play when nobody wants to sponsor a bowl game in Ames, Iowa?
