Fury-Wilder was the slugfest everybody wanted.

Usyk - Joshua was a technical chess match.

There's a pretty good roster of challengers on their way up.

If boxing promoters werent such snake oil salesmen and con men, and sanctioning bodies weren't corrupt dens of vipers, there would be so much money to be made.

I hope you're right but I dunno. Little boys no longer grow wanting to become heavyweight champion. I hope it can ever be what it was back in the day

Boxing putting every big fight on PPV turned off a ton of casual viewers, including me.

Just watched a replay of the Sanchez v Ajagba fight, didn’t go like I thought it would.

This. I don't consider myself a casual boxing fan since I've been following the sport since I was a kid watching "Friday Night Fights Live From Madison Square Garden" back in the late 50's with my dad and uncles.

But, the advent of just about every major fight being on PPV finds me not paying for them no matter who's fighting. I do have a subscription to DAZN and they show championship fights several times a year, along with PDC Darts tournaments where the top pros in the world vie, along with snooker, billiards, MMA and an array of other sports, all for $99 a year subscription.

Where a single PPV fight is often within $10 of that yearly subscription price, so I pass.
