It's the perfect storm of lovers vs haters. And both sides are very passionate.

Congrats on surviving the grind of the Eastern conference playoffs. They had to play Milwaukee

Okay, I am definitely drawing a blank here. Other than the Pacers, I cannot remember a 1st or 2nd round playoff series in the last 3 years that got past 6 games.
Pacers went to 6 in 2012 without Bosh. Celtics went to 7 in 2012, but also because no Bosh for first 5 games.

This is right. I just meant the perception is they're far and away the best and sexiest team but it hasn't been total domination.

I'm going to disagree. Going 11-1 over the past three years in playoff series is pretty freaking dominant.

Celtics series was the ECF. Was only talking about 1st and 2nd round playoff series.

So is winning 3/4 but Alabama's run hasn't been AS dominating as the media would like everyone to think. Awesome yes, but along the way shite wasn't all peaches.

it's never easy. Even those great bulls teams didn't blow every team out and sweep series's. They won by 3-- a possession or so-- and won in about 6 games. But they were consistently better.

Winning is all that matters. In today's salary cap/ free agency NBA, there won't be anymore all time great teams. The spurs have an amazing system, that OKC team with harden was stacked, the celtics were old, but had some HOFers, and the pacers are a damn strong team. The heat's opponents get paid, too. No apologies are necessary for winning in less than spectacular fashion.

And I'm kinda shocked how reluctant people are to call for the heat's demise. I thought the pacer pain train would be at full speed

Oh it will be. The MSB is kinda "meh" about the NBA until the playoffs start. Then it's a damn war zone.

Hope you're right. Heat will pull their usual disappearing act for at least 2/5.

Pacers are the best team, but Miami still has the best player.

We saw this throughout the MJ era and MJ always found a way to bury teams.

Top 20 player IMO

You can research his production in years when MJ was gone.

That's what I was getting at. We all know how good he was. Idk why older folks(like my dad) have to turn him into a super hero.
