I don’t want sports to fail. I love sports dearly. Have my entire life. I greatly enjoy the aspects of competition and teamwork. The sheer enjoyment of cheering for my favorite teams and cheering against the teams I hate. But that joy has been lost to the disrespect for our flag and support by the players (and league’s even) for an anti American organization. I watch sports to escape the politics. I watch sports to watch sports. That is gone. So I too am gone from the viewing audience until it is fixed.

I believe if the money aspect impacts the league enough things will change. Make the players stay in the locker rooms during the anthem. Disallow honoring anyone on the helmets/uniform. All statements or support for any political organization should be removed from all stadiums. Any player talking politics in pre/postgame interviews should be fined. Anything involving the game should be about the game period. Outside of the game I don’t give a shite what they say or who they say it to (so long as not criminal....1st amendment and all), but while on the clock with NFL, NBA, etc they are an athlete and not a political entity.

Basically it’s time for a reset because I miss my sports and will not be watching until it changes.
