Jim Brown is #1 on the list but somehow he was voted behind a lineman in the 1956 heisman. Shame on those voters.

He was black during the 50s
He wasn’t gonna win shite

Just a quick glance and 6 of the top 7 being RBs tells me all I need to know about the list

Andrew Luck is ranked as a better player (64), than both Tim Tebow (76!!!!) and Vince Young (81)

I think they look at pro success when they make these which is stupid. What they did in the NFL should have no bearing

I don't recall seeing Vinnie Testaverde in the list. But in 1985 and 1986 he was the equivalent of Joe Burrow....until that Fiesta Bowl against PSU

It's clear they are holding Tebow's lack of NFL success against him in the rankings which is bullshite.

Tebow had one of the most impressive collegiate careers of any college QB ever.

That list looks like a Baby Boomer's wet dream

Definitely a factor. This list is the OPPOSITE of "recency bias". Star players from the 50's through the 70's are vastly over represented, because that's the era the people who made this list came of age in.

Danny Wuerffel who won a natty (2x appearances), 4 SEC titles, a Heisman, rewrote the SEC record book, and went 3-0 head to head against Peyton...not even ranked.

It's a joke he isn't on the list and Tebow not being in the top 25.
