The Lakers went from not making the playoffs to World Champs the NEXT year. Got an icon for that Einstein?

It just ain't so, unless you say it. The Lakers have got this great big trophy that says champs and you get to work these cute icons on the Rant. Talk about legit.

They have many of those. No one will remember LeBetas which is the best part

Now they are ruined and nothing could make us happier
But at some point you need to release that lockjaw grip you have around LeBetas nether region

You really are quite emotional, aren't you?

The cool thing is, the Lakers can wheel and deal. You, on the other hand, will still be intellectually nonexistent.

1. S&T Schroeder- Lowry

Lol. They aren't getting Lowry for Schroder, and they can't trade any future firsts for like 8 years

quote:

2. Trade Kuzma- Hield+

That's a fairly lateral move, and LeBron would hate Hield by game 10.

3. Draft (1st round, buy 2nd).

So many day 1 contributors to be had at 22.

4. FA, excp, min guys- Conley+

Lateral to their current minimum guys

5. Resign Horton-Tucker

That's not improving. That's literally staying the same.

LeBron is also a year older with more wear on his tires and Fingerbutt is already declining and can't stay healthy.

Yup they have lots of assets cap space and everything wants to join a trainwreck

Should have traded Kuz for him they had the chance. Now he will sign with Kawhi to form Toronto West

Lebron and Davis are dominating an oversized chunk of salary which is going to stop the team from getting measurably better in any way. Unless Lebron is willing to take a massive pay cut he's facing an uphill challenge.

50% of cash goes to davis and lebron.

davis is the big problem.
he dominates when 100%.
they got one nba champ ring.

davis might be healthy for next year.
if davis is in peak condition for next playin playoff then lakers are 35/65 to win it all.

no better because Utah, gsw, Denver, random hot west 5 to 8 seed could all take a series.
Milwaukee and nets will have a say too.

I'd have to bet NO more lebron rings.
davis no better than 50 50 to get through 4 playoff series if 6th or better. must win playin games all the more chances to lose and go home.

maybe re wager after lebron goes to next team as old reliable #3 on champ contender.

People are debating semantics. They are going to replace two high salary bad fits (Schroeder and Kuzma) with two high salary better fits. Plus a first round pick and whoever they sign with their exceptions, plus ring chasers. They will be better next year and still have a run in them.

I'm not saying they are winning a Championship. But it is a solid playoff team, top 4 seed even. They aren't diving into the lottery. So it is premature to proclaim them dead..

I guess you can always hope Davis stays healthy and Lebron starts getting younger.....

I hate the Lakers. Despise them and hope they go down in a fiery inferno. But I have to be honest and acknowledge they have great talent/tools. James is still capable of incredible individual performances defying every age standard. Davis is a douche, but is insanely gifted. If those two are somewhat healthy and surrounded by average talent, they are a threat. Simple as that. Plus the league is going to do everything to make sure they are successful. They aren't going away for another year or two..

They're going to try to, but that doesn't mean they'll be able to. Trades require both teams to agree.
