Because there is nothing else to watch in Sports.

This is why they need competition and they need it bad.

For example...

They made one point last night about Alabama staying on Miami beach and the entire world has been mind fricked thinking that the entire Alabama team is out partying it up and snorting cocaine.

Just from one little comment made last night by an ESPN announcer.

frick competition. They are good at broadcasting sports. You don't have to be a choad and let the talking heads get to you.

Tell that to all the Harris Poll voters. They most certainly influence who is ranked where in college football. Other sports I don't know, I don't care. They definitely haven't ruined NFL as the OP suggests.

CBS, NBC, Fox, TNT, TBS, etc are good at it too. ESPN isn't any better once it gets down to the substance of their coverage.

Maybe these other networks should pony up and pay their way into covering more of these events. ESPN isn't covering it for free.

I hate when people say that. Who are the couple of "dominate" teams in MLB that are so much better than everyone else? I think there are 4 teams that haven't made the playoffs in the last 10 years.

My life is far from ruined. It's a sports message board. What should I talk about? Bill Clinton?

and YES, the weather channel has ruined weather tv. Have you seen the shite they have aired on that station.

For god sakes they are now naming every weather event now

Snow Storm Emily
Thunderstorm Roger
Tornado Jason
Landslide Kim
Heat Wave Albert

bla bla bla

You're just mad. Their sources are no worse than any other 24-hour niche networks'.
