Very arrogant... winning over them in baseball was awesome for us Texas Tigers.
At the least, it shut them up for a little while.

Disagree...i've lived in E. Tennessee for 5 yrs and DFW for 4 yrs. Tenn fans are WAY more obnoxious/delusional than Texas fans. I have yet to encounter a Texas fan with a disdain for LSU...most are indifferent to SEC schools and some are even complimentary to the Tigers.
I have no problem with Texas getting the crystal football this yr.

I lived in north dallas for over 2 years and knew twice as many ou fans than ut fans.the dallas area texas fans are diluted. I live in austin now and could only get my head above water for about 2 weeks after the cws.
They were pretty hospitable when my wife and I went to the ut gameday though.

They haven't impressed me that much! Their good for the conference they play. I root for them, but not against SEC. We don't want the SEC to lose because it would hurt our strength of schedule every year. SEC needs to keep racking up NC's. Besides who I root for they will not hold a candle to the SEC Team.

way too soft of schedule, their good, but they aint gonna be bama or florida...no way...Bama and Florida are battle tested and proven...TX will get slammed...I love LSU and hope they win first but the SEC comes second... I hope the SEC wins as many Bowls and NT's as possible...

their running game leaves a lot to be desired. they'd beat bama comfortably IMO, would struggle with florida but could win.

I work with several UT alums that are proud of their school, but have never said a bad thing about LSU(or any other SEC school). Why would they, hell we don't ever play them in football...the only chance is in the Cotton Bowl or BCS.
I will say OU fans here hate LSU pretty bad, but UT...nahh

UT asked teams to play us, including wisconsin, they backed out. That's how we wound up playing wyoming. And you can't blame texas for the Big 12 being weak this year. Not their fault.
Every team has their assholes and what not. Not really fair to judge one team's fans.

Also, Arkansas & Utah backed out of deals to play Texas this year. However, If Texas had defeated Arkansas and/or Utah and/or Wiscy then people would still be posting that the OOC sucks and the Big 12 sucks.
