It wasn't. The Stephen F. Austin club Baseball team started it back up at a Cards game one night a couple of weeks ago after a long rain delay and the Cards walked it off so they coined it "Tarps Off". Then the Cards invited them back after their next game and paid for it all. Then it took off big into what it is now.

It was funny reading all the hate on the Cards Twitter page from other fanbases then theirs started doing it.

Why do you keep saying this. I literally posted the notation of the first time it was done and it has nothing to do with SFA. It was Okie St. If you want to say they did it at a Cards game and it got a lot of attention, fine, but they were not the OG "go to a section near the rafters, take your shirt off, and wave it around" people.

Because they did, I just told you that.

If you want to edit your OP and remove "tarps off" then you can allude to Okie State a year ago. Otherwise, "tarps off" is from the SFA club baseball team. That is where "tarps off" came from, the removal of a tarp on the baseball field after a rain delay. This is clearly what you're talking about but had no idea about it so you erroneously called them Cards fans before you googled it.

This is what OSU did. What SFA did at the Cards game is the "tarps off" trend currently. That's where it comes from.
