The one who stood for the national anthem while his team was in the locker room.

Which was because they didn't want individual players to be attention whores, not because they hate America.

And no, I'm not calling an army ranger an attention whore. His move was clearly not since he was barely out of the tunnel, not on the sidelines.

Or jerseys/apparels replacement trick. This dude burned a $450 steelers jacket.

LINK

We know he will be back. And will be getting a new jacket.

Kaepernick had the top selling jersey in the league going into the 2016 regular season, and as of the start of this season, he's still in the Top 50 without being on a team.

Just an FYI.

I've always found the "I'm going to burn ____ players uniform and post it on youtube" a very head scratching move to make.

He's also got an endorsement deal with USAA, if I remember correctly.

He pretty much had an expectation that he'd be standing for the anthem.

I would think he had that way before the USAA endorsement considered he went to West Point.

Yea no shite, he's an army ranger. We're talking about currently, and slack didn't mean he stood because he had a USAA endorsement

That is so awesome that he did his tours and then stepped into the NFL post-military. Not many can say that

If I were a player I think it would be good news to hear lots of people were burning my jersey. They had to buy it first after all.

NFL: " Mo money , Mo money".

If Kaepernick returned he'd obliterate old soldier boy in Jersey Sales.

, sure, I'm just pointing out he had a vested financial interest as well.

I'm not trying to suggest it influenced his decision though.
