Raiders are calling a significant press conference for Tuesday at which time they will introduce Jon Gruden as their next head coach, as @CorkOnTheNFL reported.

#Raiders coach Jon Gruden has 3 key hires already in place: #Rams QB coach Greg Olson as OC, #Bengals DC Paul Guenther as DC, #Cowboys special teams coach Rich Bisaccia as ST.

The #Raiders coaching staff under Jon Gruden will be the most expensive in @NFL history: Jon Gruden will make $100M over 10 years. Coordinators are getting 4 year deals, sources say. 2 years in Oakland, 2 in Las Vegas.

I’d like to go on record with saying that he won’t last longer than three years. I just can’t see him being motivated enough to be successful at this point of his life, he’s had it easy for a long time

I disagree.

If he can get the egos and talent on board his scheme and plan they could be very good.

There was something amiss in that locker room this past year and hopefully Gruden can right that ship.

The talent is there to succeed pretty quickly with the right lead man.

If true, did he go through all the sit downs with Reid and the Chiefs? How pissed would they be? Dude is about to be announced as the head coach of a division rival, and is supposedly still going to be in the booth for ESPN this weekend.

That's on them. I think the Titans barred him from their meetings and Reid could have done the same.

Soon. Hopefully they can challenge the Patriots soon enough year in year out. How fun would the Old Patriots vs the Young Raiders championship games be.
