Im not forgetting him at all. Makes no sense to include a player that didnt really get to play

Didn't he play half the season? Marshall missed time last season too.

Waddle has played in 41% of Bamas season

Marshal played in 80% of LSUs season

Seems disingenuous. We have plenty of sample size this year and previous years to know that he is special and that the offense is way better with him. Also including Waddle makes it a much more interesting comparison

The 2020 Bama offense has had more time without Waddle than with him. Why would you include him in this comparison?

Because he was Bama's lead guy over the Heisman winner when he was healthy. And it makes the comparison to 2019 LSU more legitimate. Burrow is a clear step over Jones whereas Bama's O-Line was way better. RB is a push and WR/TE is a small LSU advantage

Lsu has 2 o lineman from 2”2019 starting and playing extremely well in the nfl a rookies. I guess we will see how Bamas is “way better” soon

Would you not say that Burrow, sometimes out of necessity, was making plays outside the pocket all year? Burrow is far more athletic than Jones and sometimes he had to be

Took away opportunities for Najee, too Seemed like every time he or Smith touched the ball it was a 70 yard TD score.

I hate that Pride is making me defend Bama.

People really just gonna ignore that defenses were historically bad this year and that it was clearly due to covid situation?

I won't ignore it simply because you posted it. Here, have an upvote, even though I believe if you switched 19 LSU to 2020 and 20 Bama to 2019, each team would still put up similar statistics

They put up some pretty nice numbers against an all SEC schedule.

Irrelevant argument. I think it's a push. Absurd talent for both teams.
What?

Chase > Smith
Greatest NFL rookie WR of all time >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Metchie

I don’t know any other Alabama receivers this year.

Waddle was injured on the opening kickoff off game 5.

He played 4 games.

I know, but I knew if I said he played 4 games i was going to get a "NUH UH!!!!!!"

4/12 games isnt enough for me to count waddle when comparing 2020 bama to 2019 lsu

PFF agrees:

Alabama QB Mac Jones has orchestrated what is arguably the best passing attack in college football history

I agree that Randy Moss is better than Metchie. Would never argue that.

Chase is better than Smith at some things, for sure. I'm as big of a homer as anyone, but are we going to pretend like Smith isn't an amazing receiver or something?

Cushenberry has a 40.5 overall grade per PFF. Lewis a respectable 70.2.

Extremely well is a major stretch for either. There are 3 guys at minimum on this Bama line, and likely 4, that will be drafted higher than anyone on that LSU line. Take the P&G glasses off
