Mid '30s whenever the AP started recognizing a national champion.

lakers have 1 fewer championship and have more everything else. besides, no one has reached their level of sustained success. the lakers have never had anything like what happened to boston in the 90s up until the big 3 came in 2007

Not true at all. Alabama dominated southern football throughout the 20s and 30s and had some great teams in the 40s. From 1904-1951, Alabama didn't have a single losing season. Bryant didn't get to Tuscaloosa as the head man until 1958.

College BBALL= UCLA over Kentucky by a MILE...................
Posted on 6/19/13 at 6:32 pm to kywildcatfanone
your obvious only criteria was titles. in which the celtics only have one more. even when the majority of them were won in the 60s in a ten team league. and even though the lakers have more everything else

exactly. thats the lakers to the celtics you frick nut. and you said the lakers were a distant second probably only because the celtics have ONE more title than the lakers. so i made an equally idiotic statement about UCLA being a clear #1 over kentucky just because UCLA has multiple more titles than UK
