I was playing by myself early morning at Huntington in Shreveport. Cool air. Heavy dew still on the grass. I hit a chip shot from 20 yards off the green. It rolled straight for the hole and bounced off the stick.
I let out a disappointed 'Awwww.'
Then I heard applause behind me and "Nice shot, my man!"
I turned around and 30 yards behind me was a course worker in a golf cart. The guy who puts ice in the water coolers. It was the only time I played with spectators.

Was only a cart boy when I was 16, but I didn't think it was a bad gig. Free golf.

Yep. Also remember the Top Flight commercial where the little kid with his shoe laces untied and kinda scraggly looking plays through a bunch of old stuffy lookin geezers. Geezers had already teed off. Geezers are grumbling to themselves about the little kid as he tees off. Obviously the kid and his Top Flight ball proceed to fly the old bastads by 40 yards. I loved that shite.

The new one where Poulter bends over to tee it up like a B is pretty f'n funny.
I laughed pretty hard at that one.

I've not see that one net. I would like to see one where Poulter gets kicked in the jimmy though.

Just watch the Masters next week. He'll be getting kicked in the jimmy for 4 days straight.

Poulter usually plays well at the Masters.
Posted on 4/2/13 at 11:38 am to iheartlsu
He does have a 2nd place finish.
