Going forward, should a G5 school or ND get in the playoff over the SEC runner up?

Its wild to me that you don't understand that many of us thought Bama wasn't in because they had 3 losses and looked terrible. The runner up should be in if they belong, said it then and ill say it now, Alabama did not belong.

This is more like march madness, seeds matter. Bama was a 9 seed vs 1. Normal outcome. The highest seed out is Ohio State as a 2 losing to a 10.

They shouldn’t have been in. UGA and maybe Ole Miss are the only good teams in the SEC this year. Most of us knew it before the bowl season/CFP.

I agree they shouldn't have been in, Miami and Notre Dane should've had the last two spots. But if UGA and Ole Miss are the only good teams who are you swapping OU and A&M with in a 12 team playoff? Most everybody recognizes there are only 3-6 teams actually capable of winning a national championship every year. In the 4 team playoff usually the third team got left out in the 12 it just depends on the year but it allows for teams to get hot again, see Miami.

Bama won against a team they had already played and if they had half the turnovers they had they probably wouldve won the first time. Its already hard to beat a team twice, see the SECCG, but I dont think anybody was shocked by Bama winning given the circumstances. Youre lying to yourself if you dont think ND does the same exact thing to OU.
