I loved the previous one, but was also one of the fans clamoring for a roof. I don't like the new one as much, but haven't been to enough games to really determine what I like and don't like. It is a little hard to navigate. Very chopped up in some of the concourse areas. Probably too slanted towards corporate customers. Looks like a huge BBQ grill from above.

It sucks compared to the Ballpark. Super generic, sight lines aren't great for a modern park, and the atmosphere isn't as good.

agree with everything except sightlines. great visibility.

don't get me wrong, i didn't go to games for most of my 30s at BP in A. because it's hot as balls and it was miserable

I just went to watch the Rangers and White Sox last weekend. It was my second time watching the Rangers at GLF. Kids had fun and we didn't spend a ton. There was a decent band playing outside as the crowd exited. Yes, it doesn't have the charm of TBPIA, but the only time the kids complained was standing in the line in the sun before they let us in.

I've only been inside the team store back when we went watch LSU vs Oregon. Plan to go catch a baseball game there next summer.

I lived in DFW from 2009-2014. I used to go to a lot of games at the old park. It was a great park, but it was it miserably hot in the middle of the summer. I went a few games at Globe Life Field during the championship season in 2023. It looks a gain warehouse from the outside, but I enjoyed the experience of the new stadium. The AC during the summer was great. I sat in different areas and felt like all the seats were good.

1. There is zero fan to player interaction because the field is so far down in a well. No kid will ever get an autograph or a tossed ball at this stadium.

4. The soulless grift of the concourses is impressive. You can buy a real cork from the a champagne bottle used in a locker celebration for $60 at the team store

This is the new norm at most modern ballparks.

Yea it does seem to be that way. I think the players want that, and the owners want wallets circulating in the concourse.

The AC complaint is certainly understandable. We went to see ohtani play a couple years ago and enjoyed the game for the sake of watching baseball.

But if you are looking for a “ballpark” experience this park is our the bottom of the list.
