I agree. I'm a big supporter of Jr. Hence the name. I also like Smoke.

The Busch's bother the shite out of me.

What's the difference b/t red, green, and black around the numbers of the drivers on the ticker?

I'm not watching TV, but I assume it means

Black: in the 500
Green: if the race ended now they'd qualify to be in the 500
Red: If the race ended now they wouldn't be in the 500.

Total there are 48 drivers racing for 43 starting spots, so 5 won't qualify between the two duels.

Just the one that goes across the top throughout the race.

I can see alot of blown engines Sunday. They are running the RPM's to the limit. There are also gonna be alot of wrecks with the 2x2 lovebug drafting. There might be 20 cars left at the end of the race.

The duels set up where you start in the 500

Unless you qualified 1st or 2nd, then you follow the race rules for all the other races, even it's dumb.

I don't think the 2 car drafting will result in more wrecks.

I wonder if there will be the "big one" now. Seems like the action gets pretty spread out.

Sounds like pretty much all the cars are running hot as well.

After the 1st duel, one of the drivers (not sure which) was talking about the slingshot was in full effect. IMO, if that's the case, then there will be alot of opportunities for position changes while racing double-lane single file and thus more opportunity for wrecks. JMHO.

NASCAR changed some car specs after the race last weekend. One of them reduced the opening size for air onto the radiator. Plus some pressure valve that limits the water temp.

Yeh, plan on seeing several cars overheat on Sunday.
