I appreciate his game, but I felt like last night he didn't play his game. That's what upset me.

People have off nights though. I'm interested to see his/their bounce back game.

I enjoyed your post FWIW

ETA: I DO get very fair weathery during the finals bc I get nervous as shite, but I always realize it and come to a level head.

while I can understand this. What the Spurs did last game was a great gameplan:

collapse into the paint, throwing his shot selection off(even though he's a good midrange guy)

take advantage of the Parker-James idea.

take advantage of LeBron helping to the strong side.

Not allowing the post ups.

Shrinking the court for the rest of the Heat.

What I saw in the third, especially at the end, was LeBron getting to the rack and being one of the only Heat players to still be aggressive. Since SA was resting their guys, you can see that this is pretty much the Spurs finding a way to neutralize him and he did what he could before the Heat acknowledged the loss. He only had five minutes of in-game rest during the game, playing the entire 1,3rd quarters.

No player with the exception of maybe Shaq (for whom a bullshite strategy was devised for) is immune to a great defensive scheme.

This next point- LeBron looks fatigued. He has been playing a shite TON of basketball the last 3 years, including the Olympics. I am of the opinion that we are starting to see *just* a little slippage in the athleticism-even though he's still above everyone else.

Finally, why are the Heat trying to play big? I know their wings are liabilities at this point-with Battier giving them nothing and Miller is a sieve, but Cole, Chalmers and possibly Allen could give you more minutes. The Battier thing is really killing them. They need to be spacing, slash n kicking, posting up LeBron/Bosh and finding Wade on a cut or a double pick.

A series like this is a catch-22 for the pro-LeBron crowd. The Heat have to be a better team to win it. All the talk about LeBron needing to do more is poppycock(yea, I said it). He's been playing on another planet for the last 1.5 years. So that turns into a he might need more help argument, which is bullshite too. For all the positionless talk of last year, the big 3 all need to play roles.

What this series should tell all of the NBA fans is that championships are not THE deciding factor in a players greatness, there are far too many other variables in winning a title that Alpha Player X can control.

Anyway, this series is far from over and I won't count out Wade/Bosh/Allen to play big until the confetti is raining down over the Spurs.

Not so much a prediction but the betting line opened at Spurs -2 1/2 and has already dropped to 1.That's a lot money on the Heat already.

First I am a Pelicans fan.

Now I didn't get to watch the game, but throughout the playoffs my opinion is the fact Wade and Bosh have continually not held up their end or some role player failed at doing their role.

Obviously Lebron has had some shooting struggles recently; however, there seems to be bigger problems.

Lebron seems to be typically taking on the best offensive player and biggest defensive effort from the other team. Currently the Spurs are completely sellin out to stop Lebron. I would expect "Superstars" Wade and Bosh to take over the game with the disrespect and they haven't.

Also guys like Danny Green and Gary Neal going off is just stupid. Who the hell has Wade been guarding these playoffs. He seems non existent. What has the solid defender Battier done in the playoffs. LOL

These playoffs have proven to me that I would trade Wade after the year regardless of the outcome of the series.

1. The new CBA is going to start causing problems.
2. It seems like he can be replaced by a collection of younger talent.
