Surely nobody involved in the documentary actually references a team with two championships as a ‘dynasty’
Hard to argue that the Astros only have two World Series championships. But how many AL West division titles does it take to be a dynasty of the division?
Just curious.

Imagine a fan of a team whose only championship since 1988 coming in 2020 in front of a bunch of cardboard fans, using an asterisk to downplay another team’s championship.

See the bold underlined part of username. It explains everything.
I would not be surprised if he wasn’t wearing his white overalls while posting.

We're playing loose and fast with Dynasty aren't we? I look forward to your next topic on Eli Manning and the Giants Dynasty. 2 Super Bowls in 4 years!
I agree “dynasty” gets tossed around too loosely but your comment is the problem of the lazy win it all or you suck mentality. The NYFG missed the playoffs twice in between their 2 SB runs, of course both of those seasons they were the classic hot at the end not a dominant team and only won the division once and lost in the first round that year.
The Astros by contrast won 2 WS, played in 4 and made the ALCS 6 straight years (going for 7) and had 4 100+win seasons and won the division 6 times in 7 years with the 1 being the 60 game Covid year.
If you don’t want to call the Astros a dynasty fine but it’s a much more dominant run than the Giants. The Chiefs would be a better comp

Former Manager of Video & Advance Information for the Houston Astros- Antonio Padilla AMA
AMA going on right now with the guy directly involved who was interviewed if you want I hear directly from the source.
Basically Beltran brought from Yankees, Cora knew, it was too loud to be used in playoffs and wasn’t used/set up by him
Also
Nothing new or groundbreaking.
But I’m sure Carlos Beltran’s Housekeeper’s Friend’s Niece’s Babysitter will have a totally legit Twitter account soon to make up some other nefarious scheme that Jomboy and the media will run with and never follow up on
Also hilarious how Altuve has continued to hit while Chapman has continued to give up bombs in close situations year after year…muh buzzer

How did the players feel about using the sign stealing system? Specifically after they had success from it

Thinking back, I don't think it was actually effective. It made the players lose sight of their instincts. On the road, when we didn't use anything. Our hitters instincts would turn back on and we hit way better on the road.

The only great thing about the Dodgers were Tommy LaSorda and Steve Garvey. The other players can go frick themselves.

If Eli and the Giants went to 6 consecutive NFC championship games and 4 Super Bowl appearances in 6 years, then yeah, they would’ve been a dynasty
This, of course. But with the seething hatred towards the Astros, this accurate comparison is lost on most.

You must have a really loose meaning of the term "dynasty" then.

Watched it today. Great insight into how Ludnow built a dynasty from less than scratch.
