Ugh u cant be serious…so just bc he hits a grand slam to win the game that excuses him for not hustling earlier when he could have beat out a play at first?….and getting paid millions of dollars
There are little league coaches and high school coaches that would tear into their players if they dont give 110% effort

Did you not watch the game or listen to the commentary???? The guy is nursing a bad ankle that has been giving him issues and still is. I would think the team would gladly swap out a missed base hit for a grand slam walk-off winner in extra innings.

No one cares about a slow run to first in the bottom of the 10th when the ball is flying out of the park.
I loved that even the announcers said before the pitch that if he gets a base hit he can trot to first on his bad ankle because the game will be over. And the dude got to stand there and admire his long ball.
That was a very exciting end to a hard fought game.
Edit: He swings a Marucci bat.
