Foul ball technology

Watching this Yankees Rays game and they’re reviewing this Judge HR to see if it’s foul or not. Always awful camera angles for these reviews. How do they not have a better way to review this type of call in 2025?

Same reason they struggle with figuring out first downs and whether or not FGs are good

They don't want to. It would take their ability away to manipulate the games.

You mean when the linesman marks the ball down in the spot he best estimates it should be using his foot and then they measure to the millimeter with a chain device?

Aaron Judge was gracious in his comments about the HR ball. Boone had every right to lose it on the calls. Absolutely terrible officiating.

The Punisher is always gracious in his comments, but rest assured, he will not forget. There WILL be punishment. Look for a multi-homer series. Expect a DONG tonight.
