F1 salaries are all pretty much guesses because they aren't advertised. But Norris won't be the bargain he was before.

Bottas would be crazy to leave Merc on his own. He won't have a better shot at wins anywhere else.

Yep, and the endorsement money these guys must get across Europe is ridiculous.

It kind of blurs the line of pay driver when most bring endorsements to the team that almost cover their entire salary, plus some.

Most are paying their own salary through team sponsors that follow them.

Didn’t they just announce an contract for Norris? Is that not kicking in until next year?

Yep, he's def. getting paid.

Ric just can't get the car to work for him.

Only has himself to blame for jumping around so much but he will end his career super rich.

Great driver, just never had it fully between the ears to be great. Red Bull between him and Max could have been EPIC had he stuck around but doubt they could have kept paying them both/kept them both happy.

Hence the message from the German investors to Hass. Get a German driver and we're in.

I can't wait to see how this comment ages.

Norris is up 3-1 in race results in a car he is familiar with, but RIC is doing far from terrible.

Norris is up 4-1 and has 2 podiums. Ricciardo was a complete non-factor at a track he’s been successful at in the past and was actually lapped by Norris. He’s in 8th place in what is clearly the 5/6th best car, especially prior to last weekend, and is closer to 9th than he is 7th.

It’s not over yet obviously, but it’s not a stretch to say he’s been terrible up to this point.

Ricc has also said he still doesn't yet feel comfortable in the car, so I don't put much stock in his Monaco performance given that's a track with zero room for error, I'd imagine he wouldn't be giving it full beans if he wasn't yet comfortable.

Checo, Vettel, Ricciardo, and Alonso have all struggled to deliver the expected results, new teams, new cars, new power units. Sainz is the only one that's seemed to have hit the ground running.

Sorry, 4-1 is right.

He only finished outside of the Top 7 twice this year and only once outside the points.

Monaco was crap and he completely knows it, but terrible is a completely other level than where he is at.

It’s a relative term, obviously.

There’s an argument that bottas has been terrible, prior to last week, relative to what he should be doing. Even though he’s been 3rd in the races he’s finished, he’s been a complete non factor for a top 2 spot and hasn’t given verstappen the slightest bit of trouble. And while last weekend wasn’t his fault, his first DNF was because he was fighting for position with russell in the back of the mid-pack.

I've heard of them but only recognize one or two songs. We might skip that one and go have dinner somewhere instead and catch Billy Joel on Saturday.

Always looks like they put on an energetic show. Might remind me of my 20's, but doubt I am front row center.

Also...the wheel nut is finally off.

George redeemed his look from two years ago.

Gio looks like he is headed to the sushi restaurant at an all inclusive resort.

Good chance the LSU game will be on that night as well. We went to a local LSU bar and had a good time.

Just a rumor, but it seems like Bottas will be out at Mercedes for next year.

Rumor to swap spots with Russell. So bottas would drive for williams and Russell for mercedes.

I would think that a mid field team would snatch up Bottas in that scenario.

Russell would drive Hamilton insane.

I hope they do it

Doubtful

McLaren - set
Alpine - don’t see that
Alfa - not likely
Haas - set
Aston Martin - set

Won’t go to RBR/AT or Ferrari

Did I write terrible somewhere?

Just saying he's a super talented driver that has probably cost himself success jumping teams around so much the last 5 years.

And I also complimented him in saying he's filthy rich as a result.

No knock on Ricc, just saying Norris is making Zach Brown look really smart.

Ferrari is set as well. They aren't getting rid of that tandem anytime soon.
