Yeah. Pretty much why he was in the wrong not making the corner then dangerous re-entry.

Few recognize their contribution to the support. Non refueling pit stops used to be 7 seconds before MIchael challenges his team to go sub 5

No doubt. Have definitely viewed Hamilton with silver glasses several times.

Hill just got shut down.
"We actually had our lower downforce wing on."
Hill was implying Max was only faster in the more technical sections because he had more downforce and the RBR guy blew that up.

That tire blowout with a few laps left is more and more brutal for Max

I’m not sure it would’ve mattered. Hamilton was significantly faster and would find a way past one way or another.

Max just needs to dump Ham in turn one. He holds the tiebreaker iirc.
The extra win would come from a race that didn't even happen. That would be fitting for F1 and hilarious but Max really needs to win the thing outright.

Or Lewis crashing out Max in Silverstone

He's talking about Baku. Lewis was in 3rd at the time.

It’s so interesting to me that both sides firmly blame the other without credence to foul play on both sides. Equal dirt on both teams. As it should be.

Ah I see. My bad

Have you never seen a car give back a position?
They usually get off the racing line. By usually I mean 100% of the time.
Allowing someone to pass is not an easy thing, that's why backmarkers are criticized endlessly for interfering with leaders in a close fight. By far the safest way to allow a pass is on the exit of a corner where you immediately go off-line and ease up on the throttle. But leaders often catch up to back markers near the end of a straight, and then complain that they are held up. That's because the backmarker doesn't want to go off-line as they approach the corner. In this case Max knew he had to give up the place to Lewis, and he could have done it anywhere, but he chose to do it in a place that could give him the advantage in the DRS detection zone. The biggest blame here goes to whoever didn't make sure Lewis was informed ahead of time (either the stewards or Merc), but Max's decisions contributed to it as well.

Lewis still peddling the brake check narrative.

Bruh, you are insulting the intelligence of F1 drivers. Max was trying to let Lewis by while keeping the DRS, that was the only reason he chose the place and why he slowed up so suddenly. He did it again later in the race which is why he was forced to give it up again.
It is a completely illegal move that has been punished in the past. Max will be lucky not to catch some superlicense points.

Both lost out, so no gain from it

Lewis was on pace to win, max to end up 3rd or 4th.
Lewis definitely came out worse on that one.

Yes, just as bad as a DNF and trip to the hospital and a 1st place finish

And its convenient that mercedes didnt tell Hamilton. Or maybe they knew and didnt want to take the spot back there.

Final race will be a pressure packed action thriller soap opera
