I would really love for Haas to come together this year. It would be fun to watch.

As he was finishing, Grosjean asked on radio where Magnusson finished.

And Gunther has talked about how the drivers are doing a better job of working together this season.

Crazy that Red Bull is second in the constructors after their struggles.

McLaren didn’t have a strong day.

McLaren and Tracing Point are tied behind them

Ferrari being 5th in constructors is absolutely nuts

At least the middle of the pack was interesting... should have been Merc 1-2 had Bottas not taken that extra stop.

Sad that I hope for safety car or a merc crash every race in order to make it fair.

They’d be third if LeClerc hadn’t have torpedoed Vettel last week

Haas is under investigation as well.

quote:

The team has been called to explain its actions involving both its cars in relation to Article 27.1 for the F1 sporting regulations, which states "The driver must drive the car alone and unaided".

The stewards document requesting Haas explain its actions to the officials said the incident in question concerned "driver aids during formation lap".

Renault has also lodged another protest of Racing Point.

I wonder what drivers aid they think HAAS used... maybe it had to do with something about switching the tires??

shite, Albons crew dried the damn track for him

Also, Renault needs to chill and let the stewards make their decision.. they knew it would take weeks... filing another protest isn't gonna make the findings happen quicker

My understanding is that team can’t instruct the drivers to box on formation lap.

Red Bull looks like they are in some shite too for drying the track

ETA: nothing done.

FIA has been a joke all year with consistency

KMag and RoGro got a 10 second penalty though

Announcers said if the Stewards are nice they would give a ten second penalty to Red Bull, but that the car could get disqualified. But Stewards could do nothing they are inconsistent.

On the grid an FIA person shut them down from drying the grid, after the race they want to claim it was nothing.

It's a yoke

I think F1 suddenly getting some sort of moral compass when it comes to civil rights is laughable, but other than the drivers the teams are nothing different shades if white dudes and chicks.

I'm not sure driver diversity is what he is getting on about. Although you never really know because he has about a 5th grade education and usually has to delete half the stuff he puts out because of people parsing words and giving him shite.

It probably doesn't help that most people on F1 teams are there because they love it and not because of the coin. I know someone who applied on the electrical side and the salary was laughable.

Lewis is moaning on Instagram and Twitter about teams not doing enough to speak on racism and commitment to diversity.

I like the idea of diversity as long as they're not filling quotas. The best 20 drivers in the world who want to race in F1 should be allowed to do so. Even if that means 20 white guys or 20 lesbians... I don't care.

I have two problems though with his push for diversity.

1. He needs to prove that there is some sort of barrier to minorities/women from entering F1. You can't just look at the grid and see that you're the only black guy and then assume racism. That's not fair. Be productive by finding the artificial barriers and then working to remove them.

2. He's a huge hypocrite. Neither he nor anyone associated with F1 will make any sort of public statement about ethnic minorities, religious minorities, women, or gays and lesbians when they travel to China and Abu Dhabi.

Because he says it isnt.

Formula 1 is about rich people spending money. If you have money, just buy a team.

I’d partner up with Gene if I had the cash.
