Yep a true badass that was awesome on the Caps following the Avs. Him, Bondra, Kolzig on that 98 cup run

Yes, from the article and his family looks like CTE was a big contributor. Freaking suicide at 52 with his accomplishments. Brutal.

CTE was, I’m sure, a factor, but he had a lots of other personal demons before he even made it to the NHL. And he carried those demons with him as his career progressed.
Just a rough life overall for him. Sad.
