This whole argument is weird to me. The NFL is making money hand over fist and they treat their ex-players like shite. Why people want a small percentage of the leagues revenue in owners pockets instead of going to retired players healthcare is beyond me. Most players affected didn't make a lifetime worth of money and the guys that played way back probably spent more on their health than they made in salary.

Too many people want to blame their flaws on something outside of their control. Sometimes it's just you.

I doubt it. These guys have the fame and fortune and they end up with a gun in their mouth.

I wouldn't take all the money in the world to deal with CTE in my 40s.

It's probably easier to say that when you're young and you think you're invincible, and your 40s and 50s seem like they'll never come, but the older you get the more you realize your health is really what matters most.

I wish the NFL would put in the first line of the next CBA: "You are going to suffer brain damage and lifetime debilitation should you play football in the NFL. If you want the pussy, the money, the pussy, the fame and the pussy; sign here."

I wish the NFL would quit running the game in the name of player safety. Let's be honest, no one cares. I don't. I want to see Ronnie Lott decapitating receivers over the middle. I want LT crippling QBs from the blindside or Butkus maiming any RB that gets near. I want the violence. I don't want to see 25 flags a game for "defenseless receiver". No one forced these players to choose football as a livelihood. They can rely on that college education they were given.
