Louisiana Tech UL Tulane ULM
UL. What's that? Louisville? Leheigh? Lamar? Liberty?
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette (USL-SWLAJC@L) is no more "University of Louisiana" worthy than the University of Louisiana at Monroe. (NLU-NELAJC@M)
Yalls "Delusion of Grandeur" is embarrassing for the State.
Realistically, every college in Louisiana should be a two year Junior College, except for LSU, Tulane, La.Tech, Southern and Grambling.

Actually, your mindset of “that’s how we do things around here” is more embarrassing for the state. We are the clear second largest university in the state and yet, we should be a junior college?
Congrats. You win the “Dumbest Post of The Thread” Award.

Only reason you put SU and Grambling in is because they are black schools. Southern is a crappy excuse for a place of higher learning.

Louisiana Tech is the clear #2 football program in the state.
Louisiana Tech has the 2nd best overall athletic program in the state.
Pretty much and it's not even that close. The only people who really think ULL has a better program are the sawed off coonasses who have a Napoleon complex down in that area of the state.

I was in Lafayette for the UL-L vs LaTech games few years ago.
It was nauseating - UL-L fans thought and believed they were going to destroy Tech.
The game started and there was a big section of Tech fans there - and the Louisiana Tech team lined up and picked UL-L apart.
More speed, more physical, better conditioned, better coaches, more disciplined- simply a better football team.

LA Tech’s baseball program is just as good as ULL’s is.
Someone is wrong AND living in the past. Under the current coach at UL Lafayette, they lead the series 28-12 I believe.

Along with his implicit assumption that Tulane is a public university.

No school in Louisiana has stepped up and claimed a clear number 2 in football.
Throughout the years every FBS school (aside from ULM) as well as McNeese and NSU (2001 with Nall) could claim to be the best team outside of LSU in different seasons. Problem is that no school has sustained that clear #2 spot
I would put ULL as the clear #2 baseball program now that Tulane has fallen off. NSU and ULM were the clear baseball programs in North LA until recently, Tech was an afterthought.
While Techs baseball program is very good right now NSU is closing the gap on that.

So in baseball, Tech has one regional appearance in 31 years.
Someone remind me again how that’s considered as “caught up” with our baseball program.
P.S. Tech’s hitting coach the year that they made that one regional appearance...........we just hired him to be our new hitting coach

I have no idea how anyone can put Tech on the same level as the Cajuns in baseball. Not even close.

Louisiana Tech
ULL
Tulane
ULM
Tech has the most history, tradition, and more loyal fans than the rest.
Prime example, I caught the local news at my parents house covering ULL. They had coastal Carolina at Cajun field. It was a tight conference game neck and neck. The camera showed highlights and the stadium was COMPLETELY empty. I’m not trying to shite on ULL fans but what’s the deal here? Everywhere you go in Lafayette it’s Cajuns this Cajuns that and the stadium always seems to be completely empty? The program itself has very nice facilities, they seemed to hire a young coach on the rise, and if they get to 6 wins every year they’re a Lock for a bowl in the sunbelt.
On the other hand, LA Tech sold their allotment vs LSU and then some. By some I mean a lot. That was easily the most OOC fans I’ve seen travel to Tiger Stadium. They were loud too. The program itself is obviously decent if you follow CFB you would know they pretty much always make some noise in the g5 world. The way their fans traveled and team played, you would have thought they were in a P5 conference or something.

Are you serious? It’s clearly LA Tech. Did you miss the LSU/Tech game last night? Have you not seen the home and home they had with ULL? Did you miss the four bowl wins in a row?
It’s Tech by far.

Same Tech that split with NSU in their last two meetings. Same Tech that has never beaten Tulane.
Yes they played well against LSU but every other program has close games and wins over power teams. Hell, Nicholls almost knocked off aTm last year. NSU almost knocked office Ole Miss a few years back and we’ve been horrible.
Last night didn’t set them apart nor did the wins against the Cajuns. Tech has had some impressive years but also some very bad ones.
Tech fan base isn’t any better than ULL or McNeese. Bulldogs struggle and there are plenty of empty seats in Ruston. Both McNeese and NSU sold more than their allotment of tickets at LSU.
