I'm not sure what's so funny. I was talking about a purely BUSINESS decision i.e MONEY

When it comes to pure quarterbacking, there is no question that Manning is one of the best to have ever played the game.

I was just saying that Flynn would be the best strategic business option.

Flynn not getting many FA offers

Actually, he is the second-most highly sought after FA QB this year. Would have been the first if Manning hadn't been tossed in there.

Look, all I'm saying is that I think Flynn is a better QB choice than Luck. Once again, there is NO QUESTION that Manning is far and away the best of the three, in terms of everything but cap space.

Yep. Smart move. Looks like an end to the Seahawks' QB misery.

In the Colts business eyes, it's more like this:

Luck>Manning>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Flynn.

And they've done everything to indicate so.

That's why your statement was so funny.

Exactly. So why not take the better QB

They are going to take the best QB option available.

If your little theory had any merit, he should signed a monster deal on day one.

actually, I doubt that. This is purely a football move. Its a bad team, a 36 y/old QB coming off a major injury doesn't help your future much. If Luck is the real deal, he can be your QB for the next 14 years. They are going to be bad next year regardless, might as well take the rook and build for the future.

I for one think that Flynn has the most upside to him when he is mentioned in the same conversation as Manning, Tebow, Alex Smith, or Matt Hasselbeck. I also think that whichever team lands Matt Flynn will get themselves a quarter back they can build a franchise around for many years, and not hit an instant home run for the 2012 and 2013 seasons.

All of that said, there is no way Flynn should go to the Colts over Andrew Luck.

Think it's a good fit for both sides. I know my friends in the NW are happy about this.

I don't know what you are laughing at dipshit. I never said Flynn wouldn't sign, but if you were correct that he was better than Luck, all the teams with QB issues should have been lining up to get him. Why in the frick didn't Washington just sign him instead of giving up 3 first round picks for RGIII?

$10M guarenetted is less than Luck and RGIII will probably get, its less than RB A Foster got and 1/5 what Mario Williams got, but yeah, Flynn is a better QB than Luck
