Looks like since Floyd-Canelo has been booked for September 14, Bradley-Marquez will be moved to October 12.
LOL at Bradley-Marquez being PPV. Arum is running out of options. If that fight were the same night as Mayweather-Canelo, it would've done like 100 buys. Moving to 9/12 should increase that to ~10,000 or so.

ETA: vs. 2 million+ for Mayweather-Canelo

Agreed. The build up will be great and this fight will generate a ton of money.

However, Floyd will crush the Canelo hype machine on September 14.

Golden Boy better hope Alvarez doesn't become the next Fernando Vargas. He was a hype machine as well until De La Hoya put him on the deck and Vargas was never the same.

I'm a huge Mayweather fan, but if you take away Gatti like 7 or 8 years ago, and Ortiz boxing like an idiot, when was the last time May actually crushed somebody? He's the best in the world, but he doesn't crush anybody.

This. I have lost a lot of money betting under total rounds in his fights. He does just enough to win.

Why would you bet the under on mayweather when the man is a boxer FIRST AND FOREMOST!!!

Not trying to be an arse but i wouldnever bet against decision in mayweather fights.

This fight will show the power of boxing and will blow the ppv nunbers out of the water

Canelo isn't ready for what he's going to get from Floyd. But I'm still glad they made this fight.

Unders are way more exciting to cheer for when you are there and to go to a decision was like -240 against Guerrero. I didn't want to pay all that money for a ticket, lay those odds and go hope for a boring fight. (I know that would have been the smart thing to do but oh well)

This is a perfect fight for Mayweather to take a dive and make an excuse about it

Ortiz was punching Mayweathers head in till that fiasco fix happened with the hugs and kisses

This is a great fight.

The crowd will be all messicans and could get real intense can't wait

Why does Floyd do this to himself? He finally after many years fights the guy who people want to see him fight and he imposes a catchweight? You can't make this stuff up, this fight can't be taken seriously

Now im questioning if you are retarded are just making shite up
in your head.

Mayweather was giving Ortiz a beating, which made Ortiz get frustrated and head butt and lunge at mayweather because nothing he was doing was working.

In no way could anyone who actually watched the fight say that Ortiz was "punching mayweather's head in"

Gtfo with the bullshite and dont ruin a good thread

From what I remember, it did seem like Ortiz was getting more comfortable in the ring and starting to at least hit Mayweather.

Dude what fight were you watching? Floyd was schooling Ortiz from the opening bell.

Look at these numbers for Ortiz:

Jabs: 0/31.....0%
Power Punches: 26/117.....22%

Total: 26/148.....18%

He wasn't landing a damn thing.

You don't have to knock people out in order to "crush" your opponent in boxing. Floyd crushes people with his perfection of the sweet science: hitting your opponent and not getting hit in return.

When I say "Floyd will crush the Canelo hype machine", I'm referring to Floyd simply dominating this fight from a boxing perspective and making Canelo look like an average fighter in the ring. Canelo is believed to be a "great" fighter right now and he will look nothing of the sort on September 14.

Two of the three judges would've had the fight even - 2 rounds apiece - after the 4th round if it weren't for the KO (ETA: or the point deduction). FWIW

You and the other guy obviously have your money mayweather glasses on

Ortiz was absoutely hitting him and was getting solid shots in on his face especially that round the fiasco went down.

Mayweathers baby jabs don't hurt fighters

Cinnamon is bigger than Mayweather. And will weigh about 165 come fight night and that's something Money May hasn't seen in a long time

He has a great chance unless its a set up for the Rematch which is most likely

I'd be surprised if he doesn't get a % of the PPV sales
