First and goal from the 1, there’s probably a less than 5% chance you don’t score with 4 consecutive QB sneaks.
You’re rarely losing yardage, and when you do it’s only about half a yard. There’s also about a 50% chance you gain 2 yards from the sneak.

This is one of the things that I noticed last year with Michigan. When they needed a yard, they got under center and got it. None of that cute shite.
Too many coaches have forgotten that sometimes football needs to be done the old fashioned way.

Thats the crazy part that more teams seem to not study what Brees was able to do in these types of situations.
It’s one of the lesser talked about reasons Brady was such a winner
Even small incremental gains in 4th and 1 and goal line situations are massive in the W/L columns.

I can't even recall the last time I've seen a RB try to leap over the oline, which seems like an easy move.

Just go wildcat if you don’t want to run power or go rugby style.
Any power back or FB behind a DL blocker like Bama used to do with Mt Cody isn’t getting stopped consistently.
Coaches are not nearly as smart as they think they are.
